Collaborating with the Smug Fig team on their previous café murals, All City Walls was commissioned to paint a feature mural for the new premises of Smug Fig Café, a request for a contemporary mural with Japanese elements, samurai dogs serving sushi, Koi, floating clouds, Hokusai wave with underwater shipwrecks and monsters.

All City Walls worked with an international illustrator to produce the final designs and painted through the nights to accommodate other trades and contractors during the refurbishment to have the piece installed ready for the official opening event.
